AI Data Programme Manager (Contract)
About Resaro
Resaro is an independent AI assurance company helping organisations validate whether mission-critical AI systems are safe, robust, and ready for deployment. We combine purpose-built testing software with hands-on technical evaluation across computer vision, generative AI, and autonomous systems. Our clients operate in high-consequence environments, including government, defence, healthcare, and other regulated sectors.
Role Overview
We are seeking an AI Data Programme Manager to lead program management, vendor governance, and delivery oversight for a high-priority AI data quality and assurance engagement on-site at client premises in Singapore. In this role, you will represent Resaro on behalf of the client to oversee third-party data annotation vendors, ensure supplier SLA compliance, track monthly delivery milestones, and establish data quality assurance frameworks. Rather than managing line-level annotators day-to-day, this position focuses on end-to-end program delivery, vendor accountability, and client stakeholder management. You will translate client requirements into structured supplier deliverables, monitor data throughput and accuracy metrics, and build repeatable operating playbooks for long-term client capability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme & Delivery Governance
Milestone Ownership: Own monthly delivery commitments, tracking progress against volume, throughput, and accuracy benchmarks across external data suppliers.
Performance Dashboarding: Maintain transparent operational reporting covering volume delivered, SLA compliance, error distributions, and resource utilization.
Capacity & Workflow Planning: Forecast dataset capacity against client roadmap requirements, identifying volume bottlenecks and supplier constraints early.
2. Third-Party Vendor Management
Vendor Oversight: Manage external annotation suppliers and third-party data vendors on behalf of the client, driving strict adherence to quality SLAs and turnaround times.
Supplier Evaluation & Audits: Conduct regular vendor performance audits, benchmarking accuracy rates across suppliers, and holding vendors accountable to delivery benchmarks.
Issue Escalation: Resolve operational friction between client data specifications and vendor execution, establishing corrective action plans when supplier quality drops.
3. Client Stakeholder & Relationship Leadership
Primary Client Contact: Serve as the day-to-day program manager for client leadership, running weekly updates and monthly milestone reviews.
Proactive Risk Management: Surface client-side dependency delays or specification ambiguities early, presenting actionable mitigation strategies backed by data.
Repeatable Playbooks: Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and vendor delivery playbooks to leave the client with a sustainable data operations capability.
4. Data Quality Assurance & Quality Control
QA Frameworks: Establish verification criteria, sampling rates, and quality audit workflows for incoming labeled data from suppliers.
Root-Cause Analysis: Investigate dataset quality drops to determine whether root causes stem from vague task guidelines, complex edge cases, or supplier execution gaps.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
We are looking for a pragmatic, structured Programme Manager with solid data operations experience. This role does not require a hyper-specialized data science background or executive-level seniority, but demands strong operational discipline and vendor governance.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years of experience in Programme Management, Project Management, or Technology Operations, with direct ownership of client or business SLAs.
Data Operations Exposure: Practical background in data-centric operations, data quality, software testing/QA, content operations, or analytics workflows.
Vendor Management: Demonstrated track record managing third-party vendors, external suppliers, or outsourced service providers against clear deliverable metrics.
Data-Driven Management: Comfortable tracking metrics—such as pass rates, unit throughput, capacity burn, and defect distribution—using standard data tools (Excel/Google Sheets).
Client-Facing Presence: Strong communication skills with experience presenting progress, managing expectations, and writing clear SOPs or operational manuals.
On-Site & Security Requirement: Willingness to work on-site in a secure facility in Singapore on client-provided hardware. Must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible for government security clearance.
Desirable (Nice-to-Have) Skills:
Active Singapore Government security clearance (CAT 1 / CAT 2).
Exposure to AI/ML concepts, dataset labeling, computer vision, or LLM evaluation workflows.
Prior experience working within government, defense, or highly regulated corporate environments.
Engagement Terms
Contract Duration: 6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of renewal depending on project expansion. Immediate availability is preferred.
Working Arrangement: Flexible part-time schedule (~125 hours/month, averaging 3–4 days/week on-site).
Compensation: Competitive daily rate commensurate with program management experience.
